My son and his wife moved to Seattle in 2006.  Since then, they have suffered some financial problems but this past March gave birth to my first granddaughter.  I am invited to go there to join them for Christmas.  This would be my first trip to the West Coast.

But I didn’t know how I could afford a plane ticket. I went on the Internet and I couldn’t find a fare below $480. Christmas week is the only time I can take off work. With my bad credit and because I have no credit cards, I didn’t see how I could do it.
