I was having trouble breathing last week and had to be rushed to the hospital. When the doctor did a diagnosis, it turned out that my lungs were already starting to fail. It was a nightmare being at the hospital. I had been a heavy smoker ever since I started college. Now that I was starting to experience the consequences of the ill habit, I made a promise to myself to quit before I pass away.

After being discharged from the hospital, I made an effort to quit. I asked my doctor for some advice and he recommended certain products on the market that were effective. However, he also suggested I join a support group to make things easier. I was able to stand the torture at the hospital. Outside the hospital, a different kind of torture met me face to face. I had been at the hospital for two weeks and I couldn’t believe the amount of cash I had to pay. I used most of my savings to pay for them all. I was left with only a few hundred dollars. It was not even enough to buy me what the doctor suggested.

While checking online for title loan companies in Texas, I saw a couple of them offering their loans in Stafford, Alief, Sugar Land, Humble, Crosby, Pasadena, Deer Park, and Missouri City. However, the best I saw was Houston Title Loans. They had the lowest interest rate in Texas. Aside from that, they also promised a 5 second loan approval. I applied to check if it was all real. To my amazement, it was.

My biggest dream in the whole wide world is to be on American Idol.  I have been the biggest fan of that show since it first started.  I always get nervous about wanting to go on there, but I’m at the point in my life where I know I will regret not doing it.  So I’m going to have to find a way to get off of work and find money to cab it to where ever the auditions might be that day.  I’m super excited though.  I have been training with a voice trainer person.  She costs a lot of money too. So I have to find some money for that because I don’t have anymore money for the next rehearsal.  She always makes me pay at the end and I don’t want to have to tell her after lesson.  It will make nervous during the rehearsal and she gets mad when I get nervous because that is what will ruin me for American Idol.  I’m going to be famous!

One of my friends did something similar. He told me to get a car title loan in Walton to make my dream come true. He said they offer no credit check loans!  Its just like an installment loan but easier and faster. I guess applications take two minutes to fill out. This auto title loans saved me this time.  It’s like fast cash when I’m in a bind or need it right away.  All I needed was a truck or car for an auto title loan.

It gets so bad you either laugh or cry.  I had an idiopathic (non diagnosable) illness in February, my insurance covered 40% of the hospitalization, meds are NOT covered, my job was eliminated the next month, COBRA will cost $900 per month, I get $100 a month in disability, child support from my ex-husband just quit coming in March, I lost all my charge cards, now the bank has begun foreclosure proceedings.

SO, heeeeeere comes Christmas.  I don’t want to make this any harder on my children, but I wasn’t sure where the money would come from.  A few weeks ago I saw a car title loan store on Long Point Road and thought about our Jeep, paid for in full in 2005.  I didn’t go in, it’s not the kind of place a girl from my family goes, so instead I searched online for “car title loans.” With hope in my heart.

I did my share of crying.  Now we can laugh.
